Come learn about the ancient Chinese art of Tai Chi! Often referred to as “meditation in motion,” Tai Chi provides an internal mind-body system for improved health, balance, strength and well-being.
In addition to integrating mind, body and spirit, the gentle, flowing movements of Tai Chi contain an inner power that, with continued practice, has been proven to provide many benefits to people of all ages.
Numerous studies have shown the effectiveness of Tai Chi as a complementary therapy in treating common diseases such as depression, arthritis, diabetes and heart disease.
This introductory class will mix Chen and Yang styles to create an internal style that is soft and flowing, yet powerful and light.
New to Tai Chi ? All are welcome, from newcomer to experienced, and all fitness levels. Experience a meditative Tai Chi workout with great sound. Bring indoor fitness shoes that pivot. Or simply exercise with bare feet.
