How to Start Spin Class as a Beginner | Indoor Cycling Tips

How Does a Beginner Start Spin Class?

Starting spin is easier than you think. Arrive 10 minutes early so we can help set up your bike — seat height, handlebar position, and pedal settings make a huge difference in comfort and safety.

Begin with a moderate pace; focus on getting used to resistance and rhythm rather than going all-out on day one. Relax, enjoy the great music, and get a good workout.  If you need breaks, take them — it’s normal. Saddle soreness improves as your body adjusts, and strength builds quickly.

At Every Body Balance, instructors guide new riders step-by-step, offer form cues, and help you build confidence with supportive coaching. You don’t need to be “in shape” first — spin helps get you there.
