You don’t need fancy brands or designer gear to enjoy yoga — just comfortable, breathable clothing that lets you move freely. Most people wear leggings, yoga pants, or athletic shorts paired with a fitted or slightly loose top. The key is to feel comfortable and able to stretch without distraction.
Yoga is practiced barefoot, so shoes aren’t needed. If you prefer extra traction or warmth, grip socks are a good option.
✅ Soft, stretchable fabrics that move with you
✅ Avoid overly loose tops that may fall during poses
✅ Bare feet (or non-slip (grip) socks if preferred)
✅ Layers you can remove as your body warms up
✅ A hair tie or headband if you have long hair
Bring a water bottle and your own yoga mat if you have one — though clean mats are always available at our studio.
The goal is to feel relaxed, not restricted. When your clothing allows natural movement, it’s easier to stay focused on your breath and posture — and not your outfit.
